| Ailyn was born at 28 weeks, weighing 1pnd 14 ounces. She had a very rough start.Doctors were amazed. They would say "I don't know how, but she made it through another day" She spent 75 days in the NICU, the longest 3 months of our lives!
Today she is a happy active 11 month old. She now weighs a whopping 12 pounds, still teeny but we are working hard on it. Overall she is doing very well considering her rough start in life. She is our special miracle and we cherish every single day with her.
