Prayer Page for complete list Brand new twins My friend that I work with just this evening had a set of twins at 23 weeks gestational -- a boy 15oz - Daxton Michael and girl wt?? Syklee Marie. My friend has been in the hospital head tilted down and dialated 3cm for two weeks. One week ago Sunday she dialated up to 7cm and then boys water broke, they thought they were going to loose him then and if so would try to save the little girl. But God was at work they kept her tilted head down and increased her magnesium and the next day she was back down to 2.5cm. She stayed at that the rest of the week but this past weekend was experienceing more frewuent and harder contractions. She started bleeding quit a bit the doctors had to check her to make sure the baby wasn't in the canal and he wasn't. They could see his head now though so afraid of sending her into labor and the risk of infection since the boys water had broke they just left her alone down there hoping to get her as far along as possible. They gave her steroid shots the last two days but they could not stop the contractions and the babies were born. They could not stop the contractions after the boy was born to try to keep the little girl in the womb longer. Amazingly enough both babies were breathing on their own but doctors did not want them to ware out and go sown hill faster so the did inabate them. Please pray for them - this is their first pregnancy and they had t do artificial insemination to get pregnant. Brandi and Mike are the parents names William Allen Nischan birth wt 2lbs 15.7 oz, now weighs 3 lbs 2.8oz. born first week of April, He is a week old and doing really good. He now is 2lb 5oz and 13 3/4'' long. We are very proud of how he has been doing. He has two nurses that are already fighting over who gets him during the day. Jack Otremba Born 3-11-08, 1 pound 1 oz, He has been through a lot but he is thriving. He turns 7 weeks tomorrow and yesterday he weighed 2lbs 6 oz. Jesse Chase I am Gramma to a sweet little angel, Jesse Chase, born April 20, 2008. We lost his twin but this little guy is such a fighter. Please pray that he will have the strength to grow big and strong and come home to his Mom and Dad. He had a PDA and has had surgery for a preforation in his intestine. As of today April 27, 2008 he is critical but still fighting. He needs lots of prayers and love Elijah G Gray He was born at 24 weeks and he only weighs 3 lbs 2 oz now. Please lift him up in prayer as all our family is too. Elijah James UPDATE - Elijah James passed on about an hour after being born on 4/25. The family got to spend some time with him and he was baptized. They are thankful for the prayers and support and ask God's blessing for all and will keep praying for the others. My grandson is expected next week, Elijah James. He is
estimated to weigh 1lb, 3oz. He is due on July 17, but
is not expected to survive much longer in the womb.
Please pray for him. With the circulation he has,
brain bleeds are expected. This is my daughter Katies
first child and she feels such love for him already.
Please pray for both of them. Makena Kimani Our baby girl Makena Kimani was born at 25 weeks with a weight of 1lbs 9 oz on 03/12/08. She has had 2 surgeries for PDA. The first surgery was stopped after the surgeons found her heart formation to be opposite from normal so they had to repeat it through her breast bone. She also has had a colostomy due to an intestine blockage and hole. Currently she is having she has 2 chest tubes for leaking lungs. Please pray for my daughter. To all families out there, do not be scared, God will definitely see us through this roller coaster time, remember you are not alone. My advice in addition to lots of praying, get preemie books to read. I am reading one, which made my heart at ease. I now do not flinch at those beeping monitors and i now understand what the doctors are telling me and the queer terms they use. Conner was 11 weeks early and had to be born by emergency c-section. He is doing much much better. He is our little hero. Please keep him in your prayers. Autumn Angel March 5, 2008

Autumn has been through so much in such a short amount of time.
She has already been through multiple surgeries for her heart, lungs, and now her intestines.
She has yet to have her eyes uncovered or opened, has never been held only turned since the day she was born, but she carries a lot of love. She is a fighter. Savannah Lyons Born 5 weeks early, She has overcome some feeding problems but is otherwise doing great. Building up her immune system after being born with several infections. Growing in weight from many prayers. Now at one month old weighing in at 4 lbs 13 oz. We as her parents wish to extend or prayers to every family member and every blessed preemie angel out there.
