Latest Entries See Prayer Page for complete list Dwayne Boaz James born June 12 at 25 weeks by emergency c-section to my brother Dwayne and his wife Shynea. He was 1 pound 4 ounces, 12 1/2 inches long. He is still on a respirator but his oxygen saturation is good, steady blood pressure, brain MRI is normal. He amazes us each day. Yesterday, my brother was able to hold him skin to skin. He just started taking 1 cc of breast milk every 12 hours and seems to tolerate it well. Please keep Dwayne and his parents in your prayers. Attached is a photo of baby Dwayne resting on his daddy's chest. God is still in the business of miracles! Aiden born at 23 weeks 5 days; weighed 655 grams on April 12, 2008. Please pray for his continued strength. Haylee Renee' UPDATE Was born on January 6th 2008 weighing 2 pounds 10.6 ounces.. she stayed in the N.I.C.U. for forty-five days, shes now home with us and doing great she is on a apnea montior, because she still has problems breathing, and sometimes stops breathing, but she is now a shocking 14 pounds 1 ounce Thank You everyone For all your prayers.. God Bless Brayden Luke born on June 18th at 24weeks by emergency c section. He is my first baby. He was 12 ounces, 10inches long. For some reason, my amniotic fluid disappeared and he had stopped growing. My husband and I have never had a scarier time. The docotors told us it was unlikely he would even make it out of the OR since they thought he was too small to intubate. He has since surprised them all. At 4 days old, he is now 13 ounces, steady blood pressure and oxygen, good urine output, and fiesty as can be! His lungs are clear, his brain ultrasounds are normal. He does have a PDA, but so far it isn't affecting him too much so they are waiting to fix it. He is our little miracle and if it weren't for prayers of the many around us, I know we wouldn't have got this far. Please pray for us and God bless you for having resources like this for those of us who have never experienced anything like this. Sibel and Deniz My sister gave birth to twins on May 24th at 31 weeks. My niece Sibel had IUGR and was in distress so they had to deliver early. She weighed 1 lb 6 oz at birth and is now 1 lb 14oz. Her brother Deniz was much larger and born at 4 lbs and is up to 4 lbs 12 oz. They are both doing well but since they are still tiny please keep them in your prayers.One thing that we are very thankful for is the doctor had my sister get steroid shots to help develop their lungs faster, both babies are off the CPAP and doing well, we just need them to grow and gain weight. Preston Hensarling born 6/10/08, 4 lbs 12 oz Keagan Jon Ramsey Hi, my name is Vivian and my grandson Keagan Jon Ramsey was born May 30th. He weighed 2lbs. 15 ozs. He was due August 1st. Please pray for him and his parents, this is their first child. Keagon is still in NICU and is a fighter. They have started him on breast milk, but still give him oxygen when needed. Mykal My grandson was born on 06/07/2008 he weighed 3lbs. he was born at 31 weeks. He has PDA which is a problem with the heart having a flap that is pumping blood and fluids into his lungs. The New England Medical in Boston, MA has been great!!! Please pray for our little boy Mykal. Thank You Kaylee Hello, I was pregnant with triplets and i delivered at 22weeks 1day to my first baby Johnathan he weighed 1pound 1oz. He went to be with his Heavenly Father a day later. At 22weeks 2days I had Jayson (1lb and 4oz) and Kaylee (1lb and 1 oz)via c-section. 5 days later we lost our baby Jayson. Kaylee is in the NICU she 1week 3days she is doing good. they have brought down some of her meds. and today they will start feeding her breast milk. See Prayer Page for complete list
